Cinnamomum aromaticum

Cinnamon (bark) helps support a healthy glycemic balance by promoting healthy blood sugar metabolism through the pancreatic cells. It supports peripheral circulation which makes it useful for spider veins and Raynaud's disease. Cinnamon also has antibacterial, antiviral activity. It is warming to the digestive tract and may stimulate appetite. It was originally discovered in Southern Asia and was a major trade commodity in ancient times.
